Taking its name from the Japanese word for "the place where you feel at home" spiritually and emotionally, this is Munich's modern Japanese dining concept centred around seasonal ingredients, expressive technique and playful presentation.

The Ibasho menu is all technical mastery and expressive presentation. Must-trys include Executive Chef Alex Craciun's signature pressed sushi, from yellowtail with avocado and truffle to wagyu with oscietra caviar, with premium cuts of sashimi. Over in the robata section, it's expertly grilled steaks and seafood, complemented by a curated caviar offering.

Start your experience with the Seijaku Martini - a crisp blend of sake, Haku vodka and saline with pickled ginger and cucumber - to wake up the tastebuds, then make your way through the sake menu, or cocktails if that's more your thing. Just an idea.
